Terms of use
Last updated: 28 July 2026
The language of the contract is German. This translation is provided for information only; the German version is the authoritative one.
This translation has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. In case of doubt, the German version applies.
These terms of use govern the use of wegweit.com (hereinafter “Wegweit”), offered by e-Networkers GmbH (provider, address and contact details in the Legal notice).
1. The service
Wegweit helps you to plan, save and edit individual trips and to keep them as a travel diary with your own notes and photos. Wegweit is still under development. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability or to the permanent continuation of individual features; we may change, add to or discontinue features. We will announce material restrictions of a paid service in advance; if a paid service is discontinued permanently, we will refund the proportion attributable to the time no longer provided.
Trip plans are non-binding suggestions. Texts, places, opening hours, driving times, connections and cost estimates are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and may be incomplete or wrong. Check the details that matter for your trip yourself before you set off (see also Legal notice).
2. Account
You need an account in order to save your own trips. You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and may not let third parties use your account. Signing in and the data processed in the course of it are described in the Privacy policy.
3. Free access, Wegweit Plus and single-trip unlock
A free account permanently includes planning, saving, editing, sharing and keeping trips to the extent stated there. The allowances and features that apply at any given time are set out on the Pricing page; they form part of this contract. We may adjust the allowances of free access where this is necessary to protect against misuse or to limit operating costs.
Wegweit Plus is a subscription with a monthly or yearly billing period. It renews automatically at the end of each period for the same length of time unless it is cancelled. There is no notice period: You can cancel up to the last day of the current period, and the renewal will then not take place. The direct route for this is the Cancel contracts here page; when signed in you can also do it in your Account under “Manage subscription”, and an informal email is equally sufficient. After it ends, your trips, notes and photos are kept; only the Plus features and the higher allowances cease.
The single-trip unlock (“one trip”) is a one-off payment and permanently unlocks exactly one trip chosen by you. It does not renew and it does not end.
Prices and payment. The amounts stated on the Pricing page at the time of purchase apply. All prices are final prices including statutory value added tax. Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.; invoices are available to you in the customer portal. We will announce a price change for a running subscription by email at least six weeks before it takes effect; you can cancel up until it takes effect. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to the paid features after unsuccessful repeat attempts.
How the contract is concluded. On the Pricing page you select an offer. We then take you to the payment page of our payment service provider, on which the service selected, the total price and — in the case of a subscription — the billing period are set out once again. There you enter your payment details and confirm the order with the final button; only then is the contract concluded. Up to that point you can correct your entries at any time or abandon the process. The language of the contract is German. We will send you the text of the contract (these terms and the order details) by email immediately after the purchase; it is not stored by us beyond that, but it remains accessible to you via these pages and your customer portal. We have not submitted to any code of conduct.
Right of withdrawal. As a consumer you have a right of withdrawal. You will find the details, the consequences and the model withdrawal form in the Withdrawal policy. Please note in particular the early expiry of the right of withdrawal described there for digital content whose immediate supply you expressly request during the payment process.
4. Your content and photos
You can post your own content on Wegweit — in particular diary notes, booking details and uploaded photos. The following applies to that content:
- Your rights stay yours. We do not acquire any ownership of your content; the copyright and other rights remain with you or with the respective rights holders.
- You warrant that you hold the necessary rights in the content you upload and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights (in particular copyright, trade mark or personality rights) and does not breach any statutory provisions. You may only upload photos in which other people are recognisable with their consent.
- Right of use for operating the service. You grant us a non-exclusive right, limited in territory and time to the operation of Wegweit and revocable at any time, to store your content, to process it technically (e.g. to remove metadata such as GPS/time of capture from images and to adjust size and format for display) and to show it to you in your trip. If you share a trip via a share link, this right covers showing the photos it contains to the recipients of the link.
- Photo products. If you order a photo book or another product made from your photos in future, the right of use also covers the processing and the passing on to the printing/production partner necessary to produce that product — only to the extent required for that purpose.
- Deletion. You can delete your content at any time. When a photo, a trip or your account is deleted, the above rights of use for the content concerned end; photo products already delivered are not affected by this.
5. Prohibited content and use
In particular, it is not permitted to post content or to use Wegweit in such a way that
- third-party rights or applicable law are infringed (e.g. unlawful, insulting, harmful-to-minors or discriminatory content),
- other people's personal data are processed without permission,
- malware is distributed or the technical infrastructure is abusively burdened or circumvented (e.g. automated bulk uploading),
- the service is used for a purpose other than the intended purpose of personal trip planning and documentation.
In the event of breaches we may remove the content concerned and restrict or block access — in the case of serious or repeated breaches also permanently.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as under the provisions of the Produkthaftungsgesetz and for injury to life, body or health. In the case of ordinary negligence we are liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you regularly rely) and limited to the damage typical for this type of contract and foreseeable. Otherwise liability is excluded. We give no warranty for the accuracy of the trip content generated by the AI (see clause 1).
7. Termination
You can end your account at any time and delete your trips and photos. A message to info@e-networkers.de is sufficient if you would like your account and its content deleted. A running subscription must additionally be cancelled in your Account; deleting the account does not replace the cancellation.
8. Changes and applicable law
We may adapt these terms of use if we change features or if the legal position changes. The version published here, with the date stated above, applies. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
Dispute resolution. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body (§ 36 VSBG).
