At the glass-walled Erlebnissennerei, your little one can watch cows in the barn and see how cheese is made, plus there's a farm shop with dairy products to try. A lovely option if the weather outside isn't playing along.
Wrapping up and departure
The journey home is deliberately split into two stages, so the same rule about short drives applies on the way back too.
From Rosenheim, around two hours remain to Nuremberg the following day.
To finish, one last easy walk along the Ziller, flat and well cleared, before heading home. A calm way to end the trip, enjoying the snow and fresh air once more.
