The famous white chalk cliffs, with the Königsstuhl viewpoint and the glass skywalk high above the Baltic Sea. Short, easy-to-walk paths through ancient beech forest make the outing manageable for both age groups. Access is by tow vehicle only, with the caravan staying behind in Göhren.

An easily accessible wooden walkway leading up into the treetops, with far-reaching views over the island and the Baltic Sea. Along the way there are learning and play stations that the children will particularly enjoy. Afterwards, there's time for a quiet beach afternoon back in Göhren.

The direct crossing to Rønne on Bornholm departs from the Fährhafen Sassnitz-Mukran. Arrive in good time so the caravan can be loaded without any rush.

Bornholm's main town, with colourful half-timbered houses, narrow lanes and a cosy harbour. A relaxed stroll to settle in, with ice cream and views of the fishing boats. It's just a few minutes from the pitch to the centre, by tow vehicle or on foot.

The sprawling medieval ruin of Hammershus sits high above the rugged north coast. Children can climb over walls and through archways, while the modern visitor centre brings the history to life. The path from the car park to the ruin is short and easy to walk.

Two neighbouring coastal villages with a small harbour, smokehouses and rocky bathing spots. A good place for a lunch break with fresh fish. This is also where the panoramic path into the cliff landscape begins.

One of the finest beaches in Northern Europe, with fine, almost white sand and shallow water — ideal for children. Behind it rise dunes and the tall lighthouse, which you can climb on clear days. A whole day for playing, building sandcastles and strolling.

The largest and oldest of Bornholm's round churches, originally built as both a church and a defence tower. The thick walls, the vaulted ceiling and the old frescoes tell of a time when such churches also offered shelter. Compact enough that it won't feel too long for the children either.

A picturesque coastal town with steep lanes, a harbour and the famous smokehouse where you can try the classic sol over Gudhjem. In summer, excursion boats depart from here to the rocky island of Christiansø. A lovely place to stroll and stop for lunch.

The highest point on Bornholm, with the Kongemindet viewing tower in the middle of the great Almindingen forest. Well-marked, family-friendly trails lead to rocky ravines and quiet lakes. A varied nature day where both children will find something to discover.

Denmark's easternmost town, often voted the country's prettiest small town, with colourful houses and craft shops. Down by the harbour there's a well-known brewery and sweet-maker where you can watch the production process. A relaxed final day with time for small discoveries.

From the port in Rønne, you head back across the Baltic Sea to Sassnitz with the caravan. This marks the end of your Bornholm trip. Allow plenty of time for loading the caravan.
