At over 100 square kilometres, Śniardwy is Poland's largest lake, vast and almost sea-like. From the shore at Popielno or aboard a pleasure boat, you'll get a real sense of the scale of this water.
History in the forest
A day trip without the trailer.
Sturdy shoes recommended, the site is extensive and uneven underfoot.

Recuperating by the water
Deliberately no change of location, a pure recovery day.
A good buffer for bad weather to use for one of the excursions.

Wilderness by the river
A very short stage.
A new base for several nights on the Krutynia.
